Our Story

Leatherwood Family Farms has over 50 years of farming experience. John Leatherwood started farming around the age of 14 years old. During his years of farming he has grown tobacco, green house tomatoes, rhododendron's and azalea's. John as well as his son Stephen still grow a variety of vegetables. Stephen started farming on his own in 2013, while attending WCU. Stephen and John opened a retail location in 2017.
